Due to the hectic personal and professional lifestyle, most of the people can’t fall asleep during night hours and their mind keeps racing. It is to be remembered that certain people woke up with a great idea but forget it within fraction of minutes before they have their morning coffee or indulge in morning daily routine. Your morning hour mindset and significant thoughts can really bring some changes in life with a lot of perfection. You must have a habit of placing a notebook on your nightstand in order to bring those changes to reality. Apart from this, night journaling is also helpful to keep up with your mental health and get a sound sleep.

Here are 2 important reasons why you must keep a notebook on your nightstand:

For Night Journaling:

Night journaling is highly recommended especially if you are a professional and your work schedule is quite hectic. Simply jot down all your thoughts, the incomplete tasks, next day intentions and tasks on your night notebook right before you buzz of to sleep. It reduces stress and makes you feel relaxed instantly.

To Remember Ideas:

Sometimes you are a million dollar idea right in the middle of the night then you, I’ll note it down in the morning, and bam! You forget what you thought. It has happened to me personally. I got a very unique plot for my new novel and I thought I will write it in the morning. But in the morning, I couldn’t remember what it was! Since then, I always keep a notebook on my nightstand to jot down my ideas and thoughts.

These 2 habits also keeps your mind relaxed and stress-free which eventually increases your productivity and creativity. When you go off to sleep with so many thoughts in your head and the tension to remember it the next day, the struggle to sleep is something that I need not to explain here. So, try keeping a notebook in your nightstand and practise journalling to feel the difference.
