What truly makes me happy apart from writing and readers loving my work? It is travelling, nature, astronomy and every single effort put towards saving the planet and going eco-friendly. And guess what, I found all of these 3 reasons to feel happy in 1 place i.e. Astroport.
If you follow me on my facebook and instagram, you must have seen my latest stories about my visit to Astroport in Sariska. This is India’s first space themed and eco-friendly resort. This resort is located in the lap of Aravali hills amidst nature, near the Tehla Gate (Gate no.2) of Sariska Tiger Reserve.

First let’s talk about the space theme aspect of Astroport Sariska.
The region near Tehla Gate in Sariska is one of the darkest places in India making it an ideal place for stargazing. Here in the Astroport, you can experience activities like stargazing, night sky photography, astronomy workshop, DIY solar watch, deep space exploration to name a few.
Since I am a huge astronomy fan, I simply loved every bit of my stargazing session at night. We saw the stars, planets, hunt constellations and explored the cosmos. I really wanted to experience seeing the another galaxy as I was craving for it since I have come back from Rann Utsav. But this experience was even more amazing because I saw many more new things along with the other galaxy.
They also conduct astronomy workshops for groups including kids, students and corporates. And even without the telescope, the night sky looks extra-beautiful here. Would you believe if I tell you I was up till 3 am, just stargazing with naked eyes!
But this not just the USP of Astroport Sariska. What I am going to tell you now will surely win your hearts!

Every single possible thing is recycled or up-cycled to bring it into use.

Astroport Sariska Honest Review:
The rooms were spacious, well-lit and comfortable. It had all the required amenities. Mine was suite room which had a small private pool as well. I can’t forget that night when I took a dip under the stars, all by myself. It was truly a surreal experience.
The resort also organises cultural activities and bonfire which makes the experience even more memorable.
Trust me, staying for 48 hours in this resort made me felt so rejuvenated and fresh. Nature truly heals. The rooms start with approx. 9000 INR per night and goes up.
You can stay in rooms as well as cottages here. I simply loved my experience with Astroport. And since, it is just about 5 mins drive from Sariska Tiger Reserve gate no.2, it becomes really easy for visitor to go for a Tiger Safari as well.
