Released in 1956, old classic movie C.I.D. starring Dev Anand Sahab, Shakila, Waheeda Rehman and Johnny Walker has given us an amazing song on Bombay (many of you call it Mumbai). The movie was directed by Raj Khosla sir, produced by Guru Dutt sir and Music by legendary O P Nayyar sahab. These days I am in Bombay and this song hits so hard, though have always loved this song. Obviously, I am a huge old bollywood classics fan and a big movie buff! Seeing Jonny Walker ji walking carefree on the streets of less-crowded bombay, enjoying the lovely music and singing this song… it’s all so refreshing!
