Almost everyone harbors a passion for something in life, but not everyone is able to take a step ahead in turning that passion into profession. As most of you know, I am one of those who risked everything in turning my passion of writing in to my profession and I am always impressed with people who do the same. Today I am going to talk about another passionate dreamer like me, who is now a known interior designer and owns her own studio in Lower Parel, Mumbai- Vaishnavipratima Kodakalla.
She is a science graduate and was very happy being a homemaker for 8 years, till the day she decided to give her life a new direction by turning her passion for designing into her profession. Yes, she is an inspiration to all the married ladies who think that as they are now homemakers or housewives, they can’t pursue anything else.
She is a self-taught designer and trust me, her craft is simply excellent. If you follow me on my social media, you know that recently got a chance to visit her store – Vaishnavipratima, the interiors studio in lower parel, Mumbai.
She started taking interior designing assignments in march 2012 and just after 2 years, in Jan 2014 she opened her first office in Powai. And recently in June 2016, she opened a new furniture studio in Lower Parel. It is an interior store where you can get everything designer for your house, from furniture to artifacts, art and wall décor items.
Her collection and designs specializes in mirrors, chest of drawers, consoles and bar units. But I must mention, her collection of statement furniture and all things artsy is simply superb. Take a look!

There is also a segment for artists in her studio known as Creatorscape. This section is for all the artists where they can exhibit their arts and designs, rent the place for a meet and greet, host a small event for their new collection etc.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience to visit the studio and interact with Vaishnavipratima. The studio is open from Monday to Saturday from 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM. If you are looking to buy some fresh designs, rustic chic décor items and statement furniture pieces, I will strongly recommend you Vaishnavipratima- the interiors studio. I bet you’ll love it!
