PARIKRAMA DELHI – The Revolving Restaurant – Honest Review

I recently had the privilege of experiencing an unforgettable dining adventure at Parikrama Restaurant in New Delhi, and I must say, it was an absolute delight from start to finish. Nestled atop the heart of the bustling city, this unique establishment offers an enchanting blend of delectable cuisine and breathtaking panoramic views that left me in awe. It was established in 1991 at the beautiful Cannaught Place area of New delhi.

This 240-foot-high revolving restaurant offers city views with amazing Indian, Chinese and Thai cuisine.

Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately drawn to the chic and elegant ambiance. The contemporary decor seamlessly complements the stunning vistas that awaited us. The concept of a revolving restaurant is not new, but Parikrama takes it to a whole new level.

As the restaurant gradually turned, I was treated to a mesmerizing 360-degree view of New Delhi’s iconic landmarks, including the grandeur of Connaught Place, India Gate, and the bustling urban sprawl that is synonymous with this vibrant city. All throughout my dinner, I kept on looking out for various iconic buildings as each point is marked on the window, makes it easier to spot the place.

The culinary journey at Parikrama was equally impressive. The menu offered an extensive range of dishes, catering to various palates and preferences. From traditional North Indian delicacies to international favorites, the choices were abundant.

I started with the Veg Tandoori Platter, which featured a medley of succulent kebabs bursting with flavors that instantly transported me to the streets of Old Delhi. The Paneer Butter Masala and Dum Aloo with Stuffed Naan was an absolute standout.

Service at Parikrama was impeccable. The staff exuded warmth and professionalism, always ready to assist and guide us through the menu. They expertly balanced attentiveness with allowing us to savor each moment of our dining experience.

But the true star of the evening was the ever-changing view. As the sun dipped below the horizon, the city’s lights began to twinkle, casting a magical glow that elevated the ambiance to a whole new level. It’s rare to find a restaurant that combines exceptional cuisine with such captivating surroundings, making Parikrama a truly special place.
