Ok! I know you all know about my stay in Novotel Imagica Khopoli. It was one of the best experienced I have ever had. As you all know, I am always on the go. Travelling inspires me and keeps me sane! I have experience almost all kind of properties, from a 5 star luxury resort to a 5 star hotel, to ayurvedic healing village, jungle retreat, home stays, holiday homes, budget hotels, 500 rupees per night kinda hotels and even tents. I go on trips like a traveller and not tourist, and that’s why I love to explore all sort of things that cross my path.
Novotel Imagica was something new for me. Though, it is a 5 star luxury resort which is a part of Accor Hotels, but what makes it special is it’s location and association! It is located right next to Adlabs Imagica theme park which automatically makes it a happy place, and trust me, It IS! The moment to step into the property, your happy hormones will start pumping up. The cartoon characters meeting and greeting guests, the warm welcome from the staff, waiters offering refreshments, all things gives you a disney-landy feeling. (I know, that’s not a word!)
It is a pristine property with loads of services and amenities to offer. Rooms are spacious and luxurious, fully equipped with all modern amenities. I really liked the interior of the rooms. It was a fusion of modern rustic and shabby chic which perfectly goes with my taste of interiors. Here’s my room (and do notice the decor that the staff did especially for me!).
Not just for the amenities and luxury, but this place is also a foodie’s paradise. The square is a multi-cuisine restaurant which has an ethos of food outside the box. And I can’t move ahead without thanking Chef Gaurav for the unforgettable food experience. Their super sunday brunch is quite famous, as they service over 152 dishes. They have buffet as well as a-la-cart options for the guests.
For quick snacking, cupcakes and coffee, you have Tubby’s bistro which is named after Tubby the mascot.
They also have a super awesome bar named Nitro which is named after the deadliest ride of Imagica- Nitro (which is a roller-coster by the way).
They have a 24×7 gym for guests who can’t miss their workout regime. They also have a swimming, kid’s area and games zone. Also, if you need a fitness trainer, or a trainer for Yoga, meditation; you may ask for it anytime. There’s always an instructor available. Also, you can indulge into some cool activities like learning salsa, doing zumba or enjoy karaoke every evening.
They have O2 spa inside the property and trust me, you’ve got to experience it. I tried the O2 special facial and spa and it was amazing.
And oh yes, how can I forget the morning Parade. It’s the best thing that will happen to you. Don’t miss it and I am sure you are never going to forget those 10 minutes ever.
Bonus Tip: Go to The Square 10 minutes before the Parade starts and find a table right at the centre of the hall, that’s the best place to enjoy the Parade. And yes, don’t miss Tubby, Anil Kapoor, Mogambo and my favorite Detective Bow-Wow!
