Lotus Botanicals Review: face wash, scrub, sunscreen, shampoo & conditioner

Lotus Botanicals is a brand from the house of Lotus Herbals that aims to provide 100% safe and cruelty-free skin and hair care products that made from natural, plant-derived and ethically grown ingredients. Their products have no toxic chemicals and no preservatives. I have used Lotus products and I really liked it. My skin type is a combination of oily and sensitive. This is the reason why I am more fond of herbals and natural products and not cosmetics. I still get acne and pimples when I general cosmetics on my face. I recently came across this new range of Lotus Botanicals. Thanking the brand for sending my choice of products to me to try. The review that I have written here is 100% honest and unbiased.

Lotus Botanicals Natural Baking Soda Face Wash:

Lotus Botanicals are the first ones to introduce natural baking soda in their face products. Natural baking soda prevents skin breakouts, deep cleanses to remove excess oil and dirt and keeps the skin hydrated.

When I used this baking soda face wash for the first time, I felt tiny little bumps on my face but after a minute, the skin was back to normal; in fact even more glowing and clear. It has been over a week since I started using this face wash and I can feel the difference. It keeps my face hydrated and clears the face. I use it twice a day and it works well.

Lotus Botanicals Natural Baking Soda Face Scrub:

Just like face wash, even the face scrub has natural baking soda in it. For girls and boys with acne and pimple problems, this face scrub is really good. This one gently exfoliates the skin and cleansing the pores which prevents in getting acne and pimples.

I use face scrub once a week when I am home all through the week, when I step out for some work or when I travel, I use it more often as per the requirement. This face scrub as no side effects on oil and sensitive skin and give amazing results when used with the face wash.

Lotus Botanicals Matte Fluid Sunscreen:

I was very skeptical in using this sunscreen because not even a single sunscreen that suited my face till date. But I was surprised with this one. It blended well on my face and did not give me pimples. It doesn’t feel sticky and has a matte finish. The USP of this sunscreen is its main ingredient i.e. vitamin C. Also, it has SPF 50 which is super amazing to prevent skin from harmful sun rays. This sunscreen prevents dark spots, blemishes, tanning and keeps the skin safe from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Vitamin C is helpful clearing the skin complexion and brightening the face.

My dermatologist suggested me to apply sunscreen even at home as my skin is very much prone to acne and pimples. So I apply it on daily basis, even when I am not stepping out. I apply a thin layer at home and a thick one when stepping out.

Lotus Botanicals Red Onion Shampoo & Conditioner:

Red Onion hair care products are red hot in the market. And why not? Red Onion is known to stop hair fall and grow thick hair. I have used this red onion shampoo and conditioner for a week and I could see the difference. My hair fall has reduced. This shampoo not just reduces hair fall but also prevent the scalp nutrients and elevates health of the scalp. It is not mandatory to use shampoo and conditioner together. You can use either of the two but using both together will surely give fast and evident results. Apart from this, they also have many good hair fall control products that you may wish to check!

So, this was my review of the products I recently tried from Lotus Botanicals. There are many other products for skin care and hair care. You may check official website of Lotus Botanicals for more information.
