28 July is celebrated as World Nature Conservation Day.
Now, you must be wondering what exactly nature conservation means, why do we celebrate nature conservation day and what to do?
Don’t worry! I am here to explain you everything about this day and it’s importance.
Everyone knows that being aware is the first step. People don’t know things which makes them more easy-going. We need to create awareness, especially about the climate change and well-being of our planet. I started Responsible Yatri with the same intention to create awareness about responsible travel & tourism and sustainability.
Therefore, WORLD NATURE CONSERVATION DAY is celebrated in order to create awareness about preserving our environment and helping our planet Earth for it’s well-being by practising sustainability and eco-friendliness.
What is Nature Conservation? – Best Travel Blog in India
The word conservation means to protect and preserve something in its natural form. For example, we do water conservation, soil conservation, nature conservation, land conservation and so on! (I feel like I am taking a geography class here, but well, it is important and needs to be addressed and spread awareness).
So, nature conservation means to preserve nature in it most natural form, because life on Earth depends on it. Even kids know that the oxygen we breath-in is exhaled by trees. It is no rocket-science. It is very simple. We need to preserve nature, the plants, the trees, the water, the land, so that we can live.
So how do we do it?
First step is to PLANT MORE TREES!
Wherever possible and whenever possible, plant more trees and educate people about this.
We also need to take a step towards people cutting healthy and alive trees.
More ways of Nature Conservation:
- Cut down the use of single-use plastic.
We all know that the biggest enemy of our nature is PLASTIC. Let’s just avoid using one-time use plastic such as straws, packets, water-bottles. Remember to carry your own water bottle when you travel, and your own shopper bag when you step out for grocery shopping.
- Do not litter
In my latest reel, I have shared about the same! Most of us, when we travel, we throw things here and there. This needs to be stopped immediately. Said enough!
- Recycle – Reuse
Recycling and reusing daily items is the best way in decreasing waste output. Simple steps like adopting reusable containers and bottles instead of using disposable items can help us to cut down the waste we produce which is ultimately help the nature.
Please share this article to help spread awareness about Nature Conservation. This is the least you can do for the sake of nature!
