Things to see & do in NAINITAL, the reasons I LOVE this place!

Things to see & do in Nainital: Nainital is a perfect place to escape the hustle-bustle of city life and relax amidst nature! The wonderful experience of my visit to Nainital with all the amusements and excitement is still ringing in my ears and coming in my mind. Nainital is one of the favorite tourist spots and best location for a short escape. I have been there over 25 times… Oh or may be 27!

Perhaps after visiting Nainital, I really understood why everybody calls it the most amazing and enjoying place. Nainital allowed me to enjoy all the extreme and challenging sport activities which I had never imagined to do in my life. The experience of the boating across the Naini Lake gives the exact advantage and scope to enjoy the cluttering water and soothing sunshine which I had craved for long.

I indulged myself in the various kinds of sports activities like yachting, sky diving, boating, rock climbing and boat racing with other visitors. These sports are said to be the unique feature of Nainital for which the place is renowned all across the globe.

Sail boating and kayaking can also be done by the tourists. I have also undergone the trekking activities in the hills which was both frightening and entertaining. The woods of the hills are different from what we usually see in the plains. Kayaking and Sail boats are also available for the tourists.

The view of the ranges of the Himalayan Range is eye-catching and I could not let my eyes move from the view of it. The Nainital Peak, the plain land plateau, the Nainital zoo, the cave garden and Khurpatal are the tourists’ attraction of the place.

Aerial Ropeways at Malliltal was another very exciting experience for me viewing all the beautiful natural beauties in the cloudy and dusky weather prevailing all around the place. The ropeway is connected to the snow point which is 2275 mts above the sea level. Also, tea estates and worth seeing and admiring.

Every time I visit Nainital, I feel spell bound with the scenic splendidness of this place, that gives full satisfaction to my heart and soul. Things to see & do in Nainital, Things to see & do in Nainital

Best Time To Visit? If you are a winter person, visit in December, Jan & Feb to enjoy the real chill. If you like a pleasant climate (with surprise twists) visit nainital, anytime other than the three mentioned months.

Where to stay? Go for Manu Maharani (5-star), Hotel Alka (luxury stay) or Hotel Prashant (budget stay, good for group stays)

How to reach? I always go by my car. Though, near by railway station is Kathgodam & nearby airport is Pantnagar. You can get direct buses to Nainital from all major cities.
