Style is not just good looks, but it’s about a uniqueness, comfort and something that has a feel-good factor. As most of you must be knowing about my recent trip to Gurgaon for Tata Tigor (pronounced as Tee-Gor) first look launch event, I got a chance to try my hands-on this upcoming stylish car from the house of Tata Motors.
Apart from the technicalities, there is a more to look for, when buying a car. A car should reflect one’s personality. It should be comfortable, suitable for owner, look good and perfect in all sense.
I am thankful to Tata Motors and IndiBlogger for once again [yes, after Tata Nano GenX and Tata Tiago (then, Zica)] invited me to be a part of this wonderful event.
We landed on 18th in the Delhi and were escorted to 1AQ to experience the first look of Tata Tigor (I hope you pronounced it correctly ;)) It was love at first sight. Tata Tigor is a beautiful and stylish car which is luxurious is all sense. The interiors as well as exteriors of the car were indeed shutterbug’s delight. There are influencers and bloggers from all across the nation. The event not just made us acquantance with the car, but there were also different surprises for us. There was a styleback studio to give us a style makeover, a perfumologist who gifted me a customized perfume that suits my personality (the name is chic) and brewmaster, who made a wonderful cup of coffee.
After this session, we headed to Hyatt Andaz Hotel (aerocity) where we stayed for the night. Evening was fun-filled. We interacted with Tata Motors team where they explained everything from ideation to designing and features of Tata Tigor. This session was followed by cocktails and dinner. And yes, there were live jazz musicians and trust me, it made our evenings even better.
Next morning we had to checkout at 6:00 AM and the test drive was lined up. At first, (like everyone else) I too complained about getting up so early but the moment we hit the roads, I understand why this session was an early morning one. The empty roads, fresh breeze (we stopped to click pics), smooth highways, all made our drive a perfect one. We drove from Andaz hotel to Heritage transport museum and back.
Tata Tigor features:
Tata Tigor is a compact sedan version of Tata Tiago hatchback. It will be launched in diesel and as well as petrol versions. It has 5 speed manual gearbox. It gets 15 inch wheels which offers good handling between ride and handling. Tigor has beautiful eye-catching front grille with hexagonal design elements and a twin barrel headlamp with a halogen high beams and projector low beams. The interior of this car is comfortable and beautiful. It offers a spacious leg-room as well as head-room. It has over 25 utility areas perfect to accommodate utility items like cups, glasses, bottles, specs, coins, receipts, phone and more.
All in all, I’ll give 9.5 on 10 to this stylish beast. It is a compact sedan perfect for Indian roads.
