Romancing With Nature- Leh Ladakh -PhotoBlog
Heya people! Finally I am sharing some of the best shots from my road trip to Leh Ladakh. If you have no idea about the tour, CLICK HERE to read my detailed itinerary.
I have travelled almost all across the nature by my car with family. Thanks to my Dad and his endless love for road trips. This Leh Ladakh tour was really a special one. Dad got retired from bank and in order to celebrate this, we (my, mom, dad, bro., bhabhi, and nephew Yuvi) decided for a long vacation. And what could be better than Leh Ladakh road trip! After all, it’s the ultimate one. And who one Earth doesn’t know about the World’s highest motorable road- Khardung la Pass? It’s no less than an achievement for a road tripper to visit that place by own car.
I am really not in a mood to write a long one for this post (and I know most of you are here just for the pictures), so let me just tell you about the tour in short and all of it’s highlights!
It was a 26 days long road trip. My family started from Kanpur, and as I was in Delhi… they picked me from there. We stayed in Shimla, then Manali, Sarchu, Leh, Pangong, Jispa and back to Manali.
Leh, without any doubt is the most gorgeous Himalayan town in northern India. The prayer flags hanging at every next turn makes the view more magical. There are no network, no wifi or internet service… at first I found it a bit difficult but after a while, I started enjoying my space. I was with the ones I love the most, my family… that’s all what one wants in life!
No doubt, we too faced many hiccups. Like, the lack of oxygen affected my dad’s health (as he is 60 now), and uneasy for my nephew (he is 2.5yo), we got stuck for 14 hours on a highway back to Leh from Pangong, faced car breakdown too, but at the end of the day… we all were together and that’s what made things easier for us. When you travel with you family, you realize how much responsibilities you have on your shoulders. All the ups and downs strengthens the bond too!
Well, enough of talking now! I shall do’s and don’ts for Leh Ladakh tour and other important tips, stories and loads… but in another post! For now, enjoy some of the best scenes!
That’s all for today! There are thousands more to share. Stay tuned!
Also, SHARE IF YOU REALLY LIKED AT LEAST ONE OF ALL!
