We often hear parents saying that I studied from Delhi university and so my daughter going to study from the same or that I was able to find a good job after my graduation from IIT, so let my son also pursue the same from there. Yes, every time a discussion on “Kya Socha” about kid comes and this conversation comes up. Luckily, my parents are not like the mentioned types. Though, by taking such decisions of their children, parents only want to secure their child’s future.

Today opportunity scenarios have changed, requirement of companies are changing and the society is changing as well. At present, it is important that parents not limit their children’s imagination and aspirations with their 80’s-90’s experience. That time, though the competition was high but resources were less too. There were only 10-15 top universities and institutions in our nation. I don’t say parent’s don’t have knowledge about the present scenario of education, they do have… and in most case, they have more knowledge then us. But the point is, there are still some who try to impose their choice of career on their children.
