Quick Mussoorie Tour Guide For First Timers

I love Mussoorie for its quite walks amidst the whispering pines and picnics by gushing waterfalls like Kempti, Mossy falls and Jharipani. The treks for the snow views to Lal Tibba on the Landour Ridge and the tranquil cantonment area with its red-roofed flowering-gardened cottages are joyous to visit.
The ridge also takes in the views of the pretty Doon valley spread below. The sable of the night twinkles with a zillion stars, the valley’s scatter of tinsel lights is a fairytale wonder below.

People watching is a favored pastime at along the mall between Kulri bazaar and the library bazaar with restaurant, pony rides, cable car rides and skating on offer, while boating beckons at the company bagh. Gun hill serves views of Banderpoonch and Nag Tibba peaks.
Near-by pine-filled Dhanaulti is good for a detour. Panoramic vistas of the snowpeaks, pristine wooded hills and walking trails are the magnet here.

Getting there: The nearest airport is jolly grant and the nearest railhead is Dehradun. Mine was a joyous road trip!!
