Poem – My eyes are wet, my legs are numb

…and I included this poem in my debut novel Too hard to handle. It’s a sad and kinda break-up poem trying to find the answers…

My eyes are wet, my legs are numb,
Sitting by my window with noise so dumb…
A silent noise is saying something,
My ears to hear that missing one thing,
So silent yet loud,
Like a crystal sky with intense cloud!
No-way to move…
No-way to go,
I might not be wrong if I say so,
Neither I left you nor you left me,’then what what left u? that became ‘i’ from ‘we’?

My eyes are wet, my legs are numb – Anamika Mishra

Please get me my smile back,
Which I’ve left many miles back,
Far away I’m come from there,
A place which was full of love and care,
Pain and grief all around me,
Loneliness is so much bound me,
No-way to move…
No-way to go,
I might not be wrong if I say so,
Neither I left you nor you left me, then what what left u? that became ‘I’ from ‘we’?
