Delhi is the capital of India. It is endless places to woo tourists. Travellers from all across the world come to visit Delhi and enjoy it’s rich cultural heritage. Red Fort: Its Red fort which describes Delhi at its best. It’s built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and its very well known symbolized of India’s Independence in year 1947. It’s very famous for light and sound show.

Qutub Minar: The minar is known as tower and its build on the success of Qutub-ud-din-Aibak’s slaves Dynasty. It’s world tallest brick minaret and world heritage site. You must visit Qutub Complex and other structures around Minar.

Old Fort: Its sight of Humayun and Pandavas Indraprastha’s citadel. This complex also comprises of Qila-i-Kuhna Mosque, Bada Darwaza and Sher Mandal. Its famous for light and sound show known as Ishq-e-Dilli. It’s also famous for cultural acts like Ananya Festival and South Asian musical festival.  You can also experience boating here.

Akshardham Temple: Its beautiful temple made of sandstone and marble. It’s gem of East Delhi. It’s biggest Hindu temple in world. Temple is hand-carved and has massive exhibition halls, manicured gardens and large screen IMAX Theater which shows film of Swami Narayan’s like.

Agrasen Ki Baoli: Its one of the neglected monument of Delhi.  It has intricately arches and cut sinks which was originally used for storing water. It’s also famous for conducting meeting by many college societies.

Gurudwara Bangla Sahib: Its one of the biggest Gurudwara of Delhi and it also has Holy pond. All the day Gurbanis and Guru Granth Sahib – the Holy Book is read and sung. You can receive free Prashad and also participate in very famous Langar meals.

Humayun’s Tomb: Its first garden tomb of Delhi. Here Humayun and his many wives’s are graved. It’s UNESCO World Heritage site. It’s built by Indian motifs with Asian and Persian techniques of architecture.  Every year very popular Jahan-e-Khusrau Festival is celebrated here.

Jantar Mantar: It’s built by visionary observatory of Maharaja Jai Singh. Its four enormous instruments are very determining which helps to locate direction of stars and exact day and time. It’s place for political protest and demonstrations. You can also spot workshops of astronomers.

Hazrat Nizamuddin Dargha: It’s place of famous sufi saint Nizamuddin Auliya who took his last breath.  Now Dargah is built there. Here you can experience air of spirituality and energy. It’s famous for Qawwals who sing beautiful sufi songs every Thursday evening.  It’s also famous for food.

India Gate: It is the national monument of India. Its symbol of patriotic and is built in memory of thousands of soldiers (British Indian Army) who lost their life during Anglo Afghan war and World War I. It’s now used for picnic spot.  Do have a look at Amar Jawan Jyoti, helmet and upturned rifle there which evoke patriotism of every one and its followed even today.
