Oriental Residence, Bangkok -My Experience, Stay & Photos | Hotel Review

I am turning into a cliche author who often disappears without telling anyone, in search of inspiration and knowledge to write books. While in my previous visit to Bangkok I stayed in Shama Sukhumvit, Bangkok, in my recent trip which was for 1 week, I stayed in Oriental Residence, Bangkok!

This was my favourite corner. I wrote 2 chapters here!

This is not a regular hotel, but here you can book luxury serviced apartment for self. I booked a one-bedroom luxury suite for myself and I’d like to thank Oriental Residence for being such a warm host. The location of the hotel is very easy. It is just 10 walk from the famous Lumphini park on the wireless road, in the Lumphini area of the city. It is about 30 minutes drive from the airport. I was totally impressed to know that this hotel is a winner of several hospitality awards.

When I reached the hotel, it was already 12:30 at night. My apartment was on the 11th floor and hence had this view!

Isn’t it amazing?

My apartment was a beautiful luxury serviced apartment which had all the required amenities. This is how my room looked it!

Yes, the room had a small kitchen where I cooked my meals. It has all the required utensils, gas top, microwave and a fridge. The room had a huge bathroom which was no less than a dream bathroom. It gave me some serious goal, I swear! Have a look yourself!

The apartment also had a washing machine, gyser, TV -theatre system, wifi connection and more.

The room service was quick though I felt they have really less options for vegetarians. But the plus-point was their kitchen, so I hardly ordered from the hotel and cooked my own food.

The breakfast buffet was good! The hotel has a restaurant and a cafe. The breakfast buffet happens in Cafe Claire while you can also opt for private dining by paying some extra bucks.

Every nook and corner of this hotel was photo-worthy and drool-worthy. I am huge fan of dreamy decor and this is one hotel which nailed the dreamy-decor. See yourself!
