Are you in Kolkata on 13th August? If yes, then I’d like to suggest you to take part in Kolkata Freedom Run 2017. This marathon is conducted to create awareness about education for children, women empowerment and fight drug addiction. Thousands of people in Kolkata will run together for this noble cause. Our youth still needs awareness about the ill-effects of drugs and they do it for bliss, young kids still are not being provided with the basic education and many parts of our women still needs to be empowered. This is a freedom run and you must participate in it if you believe in freedom!
Also every registration you do, 20% of it will go for education for underpriviledge children.
The event is on 13th August 2017. It is organized by Real Sports India & Goeventz. There are 3 categories of this Freedom Run – 1Km, 5Kms & 15Kms where 1Km is specially for kids.
What you’ll get?
If you are among the first three to complete the race, you’ll get a winner’s trophy, else there are T-shirts, certificates & finisher medals for all the participants.
There are prize money for winners too.

Time: 06:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Venue: Kolkata (you’ll get the details once you register for the event)
Important points to note:
- The registrations are non-refundable and no modifications can be made once done
- Kindly provide active mobile number & email id to get regular update about the event, it’s venue & other details
- Choose your category according to your fitness and health. If possible, consult your physician before registering for 15kms run
- You may carry your own towel, water bottle and wear comfortable clothes like jogger pants and tees.
