I have been to so many resorts and hotels, but this was a new experience. Recently I got a chance to stay in Kairali Ayurvedic Health Resort. I was there for 2 days and 3 nights. Kairali Ayurvedic health resort is situated in Palakkad, Kerala. It is known as Kairali Ayurvedic Healing Village which is a signature resort of Kairali Ayurvedic Group. It was founded in 1989 which aim of propagating the ideologies of Ayurveda all through the world.

First impression:
The moment I entered this resort, I felt like I entered a green wonderland. We all know about Kerala’s greenery but the way this resort is made, it actually feels like a wonderland.
They have 4 types of rooms namely Deluxe villa, Classic villa, Royal villa and Maharaja suite. The interesting thing about allotting rooms in this ayurvedic village is, they are allotted according to your zodiac sign. All villas and suites are made keeping Vastu Shatra under consideration.
And yes, all rooms have a Shankh in it, which fills one’s aura with good vibes and peace.
Treatments:
They are various treatments to cure all sort of ailments, diseases and other health related issues including weight loss treatments, regenerative treatments, bronchial diseases, eye treatments, bone problems, strain, stress, skin diseases, facial paralysis to name a few. People also go there for de-addiction and rehab. treatments to get rid of tobacco, drugs etc.
Apart from this, they also have spa, massage center, swimming pool and badminton court too.
I took 2 body treatments Abhyangam and Panchakarma. Both of these treatments are full body massages that helps you relieve stress and improves metabolism. It is also good for skin and hair. Both of my treatments were super relaxing and de-stressing. I had the most peaceful sleep after the body massage, in the hammock. Oh yes, the resort has swings and hammocks in which you relax anytime you want.
Food & beverages:
Now let me tell you about the food & beverage options there! On first day of your stay, you will meet a resident doctor there. You can tell him about your problems and health issues. He will then decide your diet and for your entire period of stay, you will have to eat that food only. Their food is super healthy. And yes, there you will have to drink herbal water. It’s a healthy boiled water which helps maintain your metabolism rate.
Kairali ayurvedic healing village has their own herbal garden and organic farm.
They use all herbs and vegetables from their farm only. Not just this, but they also export herbs to distant places in and outside of India.
What’s more?
To live in Kairali health village, is an all together a different experience. Every day started with a refreshing Yoga session and cycling and ended with Meditation during the dusk. They have a leisure room where you can play indoor games like pool, darting etc. and read books.
If you are not having any health issues, then too just visit Kairali for a whole lot of new experiences. Trust me, you will come back rejuvenated, active and detoxed!
