D9 Lounge, Mumbai -Cool Place To Hangout In Andheri East
As you all know, I stay in Andheri west. I usually don’t prefer going to Andheri east to chill and hangout. It’s mainly because it’s far and Andheri west, versova, yari road etc. has lots of cool places to hangout. But then while searching for new place to hangout, I came across D9 Lounge and trust me, it is really a cool place to hangout in Andheri east, Marol and near by places.
It’s a new lounge situated in Andheri (e), Marol. The location of the property is really good. It’s on the main road so I didn’t face any problem in reaching. Ambiance of D9 is really pleasant. They all types of seating arrangements- indoor, outdoor, separate section for sheesha, separate bar and terrace seating.
White chic decor and perfect lighting makes the lounge look even more beautiful.
It also has a stage for live band performances which happen every Friday night.
The best thing about D9 lounge is that it’s open up till 4 AM. This means, you don’t have to search for any other place to chill during the wee hours or don’t have to drive to bachelor’s in SoBo.
I got a chance to interact with Mr. Rahul and the head chef. The staff is really humble and friendly.
Their food is really tasty. I am a vegetarian there I tried crispy thread paneer and steamed noodles.
Crispy thread paneer was really a new dish that I tried. It had surprising paneer stuffed inside it which was really good. I also liked steamed noodles.
I was also presented with non-veg dishes (that was mistake, I forgot to tell them that I am vegetarian) Dil khush kebab and grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. I didn’t eat it but the presentation was good and I feel non-vegetarians might like it.
Their bar menu is something that impressed me. I am a mocktail/cocktail fan and love to try new mixes. I was presented with Gin basillico, Pink lady, New York sour, blue hawai, pineapple crush and watermelon mojito. As most of you know, when it comes to juices and drink flavors, I am a big watermelon fan; thus I really liked watermelon mojito but other drinks were good too. I liked the gin basillico and pink lady too.
All in all, it’s a very cool place to chill with friends in Andheri east area. You must try it once!
