Bhoot Police Plot

Ullat Baba and sons is the company operated by Ullat baba’s sons Vibhuti (Saif Ali Khan) and Chiraunji (Arjun Kanpoor) who actually do fraud and cheat in order to earn money. But somewhere deep within, Chiraunji is not happy with this kind of work. He feels that being a Tantrik and being able to resolve someone’s bhoot related problems. But on the other hand, Vibhuti is a fun-loving money minded person who thinks Bhoot voot kuch nahi hota.

Maya (Yami Gautam) reaches out to these two ghostbuster tantrik brothers for help. She tells how many years back Ullat baba controlled an evil spirit with his powers and now, she needs help because the kichkandi (bhoot) is back. They reach the silawar tea-estate where they meet Maya’s sister Kanika (Jacqueline Fernandez) who wants to sell everything and get settled in London.

Bhoot Police Story

There are many plot twists in the movie. Though ghost-faces and sequences are scary and surely gives chills, but they are hooked with some really funny dialogues and scenes that makes it a perfect blend of fear and laughter.

Javed Jafri played the role of inspector Chhedi who wants to arrest these two brothers because he thinks they are fraud and taking advantage of innocent people and their superstitious beliefs.

What happens in Silawer Tea-estate is the rest of the story. Though the story is predictable but I am still not giving any spoilers here.

At first, I thought the movie is more like Scooby Doo cartoon where there is no real ghost and people with bad intentions dress up and play ghost to make others scare and fulfil their plans. But in the second half of the movie, there is a plot twist which makes the interesting.

Dialogues by Saif and Javed are super. I have always been a fan of Javed Jafri for his oratory skills and I have always liked watching Saif comedy movies. Arjun kapoor and Yami also were good in the movie though I found Jacqueline a misfit for the role.

All in all in a different fun movie. We have previously seen comedy horror movies like Stree but this one stands out of this genre.

Watch it, at least one-time and without much of expectations, it’s surely going to make you rofl.
