Haridwar is rich in preserving religious and cultural heritage of our country. Sited in the foothills of the Himalayas, Haridwar is a tourist most favorite spot to visit anytime during the year, as the weather is very pleasnt and soothing. Entering Haridwar you will find a massive statue of Lord Shiva. Your breath will be taken away with the splendid temples located at the peak of the mountains, the mansadevi temple, the chandidevi temple. You can enjoy the ropeway ride here.

Above image, I clicked while enjoying the ropeway ride to Chandi Devi temple.

The clear blue sky above, with green trees and superb landscape along with the dusky air blowing so fresh and so exciting inside the ropeway is a must to experience and entertain. The whole city with the Ganga flowing looks really awesome. Just carry on click as many pictures as you can inside the ropeway.
Harki-ki-Pauri is present in the heart of Haridwar and you can see and hear the cluttering sound of the water of Ganga flowing just in front of you. So, lovely, and so unique to watch. Prayers, flowers along with lightened diya’s are offered in the name of persons who had and floated in the leaves of banyan made vessels. At night the sight of all the lightened candles, diyas and agarbattis will make you still for long.
