Mumbai hotels are either super luxurious and insanely expensive, or affordable but lacking that proper vacation vibe. But honestly, Novotel Juhu sits somewhere in between. Yes, I feel if you are looking for a 5 star hotel near beach in Mumbai then you should surely consider Novotel Juhu.
And the biggest reason I booked this property?
The location.
Imagine waking up, opening your curtains, and literally seeing Juhu Beach right outside. That beach-facing vibe is what makes this hotel feel different from most Mumbai stays.

Novotel Juhu – The First Impression
The hotel has that classic Mumbai luxury-hotel energy. The lobby always feels lively with travellers, creators, business guests, families, and even celebrities sometimes because Juhu itself is one of the most happening areas in Mumbai.
The property is older compared to some newly built luxury hotels, and yes, you can notice that slightly in certain interiors and room designs. But at the same time, there is something nostalgic and iconic about staying at a hotel that has been part of Mumbai’s hospitality scene for years.
The Best Part – The Beach Access
This is genuinely the USP of Novotel Juhu.
Not every Mumbai hotel gives you direct beach access with proper sea views. Here, you can literally walk out toward Juhu Beach, enjoy sunset views, sit near the waves, or just experience that soft Mumbai coastal energy.
Especially during evenings, the vibe becomes beautiful.
If you are someone who loves:
- sunset walks,
- ocean-view rooms,
- aesthetic travel content,
- or simply peaceful mornings,
then this hotel works really well.
AND I LOVED IT!

Rooms & Comfort
The rooms are comfortable, clean, and modern enough for a luxury city stay. The beds are cozy, washrooms are decent, and higher-floor sea-facing rooms obviously feel more premium.
But I’ll be honest in true review style, some parts of the hotel do feel slightly dated compared to ultra-modern luxury properties in Mumbai.
So if you book here:
- try choosing renovated or premium category rooms,
- and if possible, go for full sea view instead of partial sea view.
That genuinely changes the experience.

Food & Breakfast
I LOVE NOVOTEL FOOD. LIKE REALLY!
I have stayed in so many Accor Hotels in including the one is Malaysia and their food is just AMAZING!
The breakfast spread is huge and one of the stronger aspects of the hotel. You get Indian options, continental dishes, bakery items, fruits, live counters, and enough variety for long stays as well.
The property also has restaurants and lounge spaces inside, including The Square – Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach, where many guests dine during their stay.
Some online reviews mention inconsistent service during rush hours, but overall my food experience was considered pretty good.
Pool & Ambience
The pool area is honestly one of the nicest spots in the property.
That combination of palm trees, poolside seating, and beach air gives proper vacation energy in the middle of Mumbai chaos.
It does not feel like a regular business hotel.
It feels more like a mini coastal escape.
Costing – Is It Worth It?
Mumbai luxury hotels are expensive in general, especially in Juhu.
The pricing at Novotel usually depends on:
- room category,
- sea view vs city view,
- season,
- weekends,
- and how early you book.
On average, rooms usually range from mid to premium luxury pricing for Mumbai standards.
Personally, I think you are paying more for:
- the iconic Juhu location,
- beach access,
- sea views,
- and the overall experience,
rather than ultra-modern luxury interiors.
And honestly? For many people, that is worth it.
Things I Personally Liked
- Direct access to Juhu Beach
- Beautiful sunset views
- Great location in Mumbai
- Lively luxury-hotel atmosphere
- Poolside vibe
- Good breakfast spread
- Perfect for staycations and content creation
Novotel Juhu is Worth the Hype?
Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is one of those hotels that feels more about the experience than just the room itself.
You stay here for:
- the beach,
- the Mumbai vibe,
- the sunsets,
- the sea-facing mornings,
- and that feeling of being in one of the city’s most iconic coastal locations.
Yes, parts of the property feel slightly older now, but the location and atmosphere still make it a memorable Mumbai stay.
Especially if you want a luxury staycation with beach energy without leaving the city, Novotel Juhu still remains a very solid option.
