Sometimes you just want a movie that makes you smile without weighing you down, Param Sundari is exactly that kind of film. It’s a simple, sweet, Bollywood masala entertainer that blends romance, humor, music, and breathtaking visuals in one breezy package. I was actually longing for a movie like this. Yes people are comparing it with Chennai Express because its basic plot is North Indian boy falling for South Indian girl, but this is a bit different.

Kerala – The Real Showstopper
Shot against the backdrop of Kerala’s lush greenery and sparkling backwaters, the movie is visually stunning. From boat races to traditional dance forms, the cinematography captures the beauty and culture of the state in a way that almost feels like a love letter to “God’s Own Country.” Every frame feels postcard-worthy and adds to the charm of the story.
Sidharth & Janhvi’s Charming Pairing
Sidharth Malhotra looks as dashing as ever, and Janhvi Kapoor brings a refreshing innocence and grace to her role. Together, their chemistry feels warm and believable, making you root for them throughout. It’s not a groundbreaking love story, but their effortless screen presence keeps you engaged.
Story & Vibe
The plot is lighthearted, a clash of personalities, a touch of cultural differences, playful banter, and the inevitable pull of romance. Yes, it’s predictable, but in the best way possible. Instead of intense drama or heavy emotions, you get a cheerful ride filled with fun moments and feel-good energy. It’s the kind of movie you’d watch to unwind on a Friday night after a long week.
Music that Stays with You
The soundtrack is catchy, colorful, and perfectly woven into the narrative. Songs like Pardesiya stand out and are already on repeat for many (at least for me, I am still obsessed with this song). The music lifts the mood and fits seamlessly with the film’s breezy tone.
If you’re looking for cinema that sparks deep thought, this isn’t it. But if you want a couple of hours of joy, beautiful landscapes, charming leads, and hummable music, Param Sundari delivers. It doesn’t try to be too serious or heavy, it just leaves you smiling, and sometimes that’s exactly what we need from a Bollywood movie. I personally liked it.
Verdict: A light, vibrant, feel-good watch that celebrates love, music, and Kerala’s magic. 🌸
