And because of FIFA 2022, the Football world cup, it has come in the limelight. Doha is the capital of Qatar. Everyone visiting to Qatar, prefers staying in Doha because it is the main and biggest in Qatar. Looking for best places to visit in Doha? This post is definitely going to help you. I have been to Qatar many times and there are the places that I keep on visiting again and again. So, without talking much let’s begin with the list!

and yes, some of these places are good visit in doha at night also. I have mentioned it there. Take a note!

Souq Waqif:

If you have read my previous post, you already know that I love this ancient local market of Doha. It’s a perfect place to eat, shop and repeat!

2) Katara Cultural Village:

You need a whole day to explore Katara Cultural Village from a to z. Yes, it is that huge and totally beautiful. It’s actually a huge cultural hub majorly for events and recreation. This hub has a beach, malls, restaurants, bookshops, and more.

3) Qatar National Library:

If you are book lover, then this library might seem like a paradise to you; but even if you not a book lover, you must visit Qatar National Library once, just to see how beautiful, grand and amazing it is.

4) Corniche Doha:

The Doha Corniche is a 7kms long waterfront promenade along the sea in Doha, Qatar. It is a popular tourist and leisure attraction within Qatar. It’s a perfect place to sit and relax, especially during the sunsets and at night. This place looks amazing beautiful at night. Also, this is perfect place to enjoy the Doha skyline at day as well as night.

5) National Museum of Qatar:

If you like visiting museums then this must be in your list. Actually, there are 2 museums in Doha but I would first suggest you to visiting this one. It is as beautiful from the inside as it looks from the outside. I clicked this photo from the secret bay of Doha. Not revealing about it here because it is one of the rare places that people visit and that’s why it’s silent and not crowded. And I don’t want it to become crowded too. Anyway, look at this pic! Beautiful, isn’t it?

6) Villaggio Mall:

If you love shopping like me, you must visit Villaggio Mall. This Mall is really REALLY huge and you proper time to explore each vertical of the mall. There is also a canal and Gondola ride inside the mall to experience the feel of Gondola rides in Venice. It has almost ALL famous and expensive brand showrooms of the world.

7) The Pearl Qatar

The Pearl Qatar is a man-made island off the coast of Qatar that has Mediterranean style marinas, residential buildings and houses, internationally renowned hotels, private mansions and luxury shopping experience at top branded boutiques and showrooms. It is also a popular dining spot among the people because of the amazing food and ambience it serves with many restaurants, waterfront lined cafes from all across the world.
