31 oct is celebrated as Halloween. It started from the west but because of it’s uniqueness (and also halloween movies & books), Halloween is not celebrated. worldwide. In one of my previous Halloween posts, I explained why Halloween is celebrated. In this post, I am sharing 31 Best Halloween Movies to Watch all October long just to get the vibes of the season. Let’s see what these movies are:

1. Harry Potter (all parts)
I had to start the list with Harry Potter. (#Potterhead alert) Though all parts are super, but if I had to pick one, I would pick prisoner of Azkaban.
2. Interview With the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles (1994)
This is over 2 decades old movie where you’ll see Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise young and cute.
3. Twilight Saga
Vampires! Yes please 🙂
4. Frankenstein
One of the OLDEST HORROR movies of all times, this was released in 1931. A must watch!
5. The Village
M. Night Shyamalan’s 2004 classic, The Village, is probably a bit more romance than it is horror, but it is Halloween appropriate in all senses
6. The One I Love
OK, this one is also more on the romantic side than Halloweeny. But we are talking about Halloween movies and not horror halloween movies. Ya?
7. Sleepy Hollow (1999)
Everyone recommends this one!
8. E.T.
India se ho toh watch Koi Mil Gaya instead! And if you didn’t understand what I wrote, don’t think much, just watch E.T.:)
9. Scooby Doo
Do I really need to explain about this one?
10. Hocus Pocus
Released in 1993, this is one of the most popular Halloween movies of all time
11. Casper
Aww! We are talking about Halloween, how can we miss out the cutest ghost ever! Ya?
12. The Addams Family
Yet another classic to watch with family!
13. Hubie Halloween
This is a new movie, released in 2020, a netflix original. A very different fun Halloween movie, you should watch (and if you are from India, please Hindi dubbed version dekhna, it’s way more fun).
14. Hotel Transylvnia
Again, a good movie to watch with kids!
Apart from this, if you wish to watch really Horror Movies on Halloween, then you can pick any from Conjuring, IT, Annabelle, Us, Scream, Hush, Fear Street, Evil Dead etc.
