Life is all about choices, isn’t it? What do you do when you are about to take up a job and you are offered a better position in some other firm? Wouldn’t you reconsider it? Yes, we all have made a choice in life, accepting one offer and letting go the other one. And trust me, it isn’t bad all the times. Here are some tips to help you out:

Communicate:

You can always call the earlier employer and communicate about the new offer. You can be vocal about your new offer and how it is better from the current one. Your employer will surely appreciate you.

Acknowledge your limits:

There are times when you wouldn’t like working with certain departments or set of people. There are times when are bullied by your co-worker’s or are harassed by seniors. You can put a word to the management and if no actions are taken, you can decide to quiet. Always mention these reasons when you are bidding a bye to the organization.

Be honest:

Yes, you will have to face the exit interview and there is no harm in being honest. You do not have to be rude or bitch about people. You can put forward your point in an effective manner. Let the Management bring some changes so that the best is given to the rest of the employees.

Learn what not to do:

There is always an experience in whatever you do. You can always learn from the mistakes that you have made.

If you’ve burned bridges over the course of your career, you do not have to be a victim all the times. You can always learn from it and move on in life for a better purpose.
