I have explored Doha at night more than days, mainly because it is too hot during the day time and also, the beauty of Doha, Qatar increases at night. The air is soothing, the vibes are peaceful and less crowd. Personally, I prefer wandering out at nights when I am travelling to any place (obviously with someone, not alone, because safety first). So, when I visit Qatar for the first time it was in June and I had no option of stepping out during the day time; hence we explored the place at night only. I visited the grand Mosque, Souq Waqif market, Katara Cultural Village, Al Corniche, Pearl Qatar, Qatar Library Villaggio mall and lots more places at night, and trust me, these places look amazingly beautiful at night!

Today i.e 18th December is celebrated as Qatar National Day. Also known as Founder’s Day, it is a national commemoration of Qatar’s unification in 1878. I have been to Qatar 4 times and hence, today I decided to share a very different post for Qatar National Day. And yes, if you are a Qatari or resident of Qatar, then Happy Qatar National Day to you! If you too wish to explore Doha at night then here’s a tip! Hire a car and don’t rely on booking Uber from one point to another. This is because when it’s late night, it becomes hard to find cabs. Also, carry a water bottle and something to munch with you because there ain’t any tapri wali shops there and stores shuts around 10ish. We often stepped out at night after having our dinner around 11ish. This is perhaps the best time to enjoy a drive on the road of Doha or sit at the bay area and enjoy the sea breeze!
