The trailer of the Salman Khan starrer Tubelight is pretty interesting. We can easily make out that Salman plays a happy-go-lucky simply guy named Laxman. He has a brother called Bharat who is an army guy (role played by Sohail Khan). The trailer clearly shows how much these both brothers love each other and Laxman’s world falls apart when his brother doesn’t return for many days. We saw the movie (screening of course) and here’s why we think you must watch it:
- Salman’s role is really different. He plays a vulnerable role and stuns the audience by his performance.
- Beginning of the movie is really happy which makes you feel good. The happy and innocent moments from Laxman’s childhood are a treat to watch.
- The songs of course are awesome. (Can’t stop humming sajan radio & kintu parantu 😉 )
- The plot is very interesting and will keep you hooked till the end. The story is set during the 1962 Indo-China war.
- Laxman’s role is a kind of role that Salman has never played before. Having a heroic personality, it simply touches your heart when you see him sweet, slow and innocent.
- There is really a cute kid (Matin Rey Tangu) who steals the limelight from the moment he enters
- There is a heart-touching speech by Laxman (Salman) where he wishes how sad he is to see people fighting and how much he wishes that all this voilence stops something that can tremble one from within.
- There is a cameo by our very own King Khan Shah Rukh Khan.
- And then there is MAJOR PLOT TWIST that we cannot reveal but that sets everything together in the story.
And yes, Manali & Ladakh locations in the movie are like cherry on top!
