You know, wikipedia says that Mumbai is the fifth most populous city in the world. Woah!! I really wasn’t knowing this. All I knew about Mumbai is that it is one of the most hep places of my country. It is like my second home. Remember? I shared my experience living in Mumbai in one of my previous posts… No No, presently, I am not in Mumbai… I have relocated myself back to my home town!!

In this article, I am going to share the list of top and my favorite restaurants in Mumbai. Though, the list was really really long.. which included my favorite places like cafe mondegar, hardrock cafe, blue lounge etc. But I have tried make a list of 5 restaurants that hold a special place in my heart and are good for foodies..!!

European-Asian cuisine restaurant and one of India’s premier restaurants, it is the top notch choice of superstars and celebrities. The ambience of the place is marvelous with deep red walls and staircase. In cool nights you can enjoy the cool breeze of sea on the terrace along with dining.
-Wasabi by Morimoto
A Japanese cuisine restaurant with exotic art and craftsmanship. It was voted the world’s top 50 restaurant recently. A gorgeous interior décor and exclusive sushi collection makes it superb place.
-Lotus café
Lotus café offers pool side tables where in you can enjoy drinking your wine whereas children can play in the kids area. The latte served here is amazingly hot and filled with aroma and taste. It is located inside JW Marriot at Juhu and is a must visit for a relaxing timeout.
-The oriental blossom
One of the finest restaurants of city, it is popular for its Chinese food. The chefs have mastery in Schezwan and their top selling dishes are the dim sum dishes. Also try Chimney soup which is one of their specialities.
-He Said She Said
The first thing that attracts about the place is its décor. Wooden chairs and colorful walls and flooring make it look like a kindergarten. It’s one of the most happening places over the weekends. Great service. Must try – Cheesy nachos, Bruschetta platter. This is the most favorite hangout place of mine. I loved it so much, that I decided to visit He said She said’s another branch in Delhi which is located in Hauz Khas Village. I shall be discussing about that, in another post of mine.
Hope you like the list… If you haven’t visited any of these, trust me… You should visit and try the food. Its totally worth it.
