We meet so many people while walking the path of life. Some stay with us and become an inseparable part of our lives while some drift away leaving a lasting and memorable impression because of their generosity and kindness. In this post, I will discuss the relationships with those who have supported us in the long term.
I recently came across this video from Exide Life Insurance starring MS DHONI. It really touched my heart and made me realize how there are people who are an important part of our lives, whom we trust and rely on. We don’t make promises to support each other, we just build a dependable relationship which is based on trust.

I am here to tell you about one of my oldest friends- Dhruv. Like the song goes you can count on me and I can count on you. While careers may have taken us on different paths, we know if ever we are in the same room, town or city, we sync up like no time has passed.
You may be miles away but you have been my rock and main motivator. You trusted that I could become a writer and through your trust, I gained the courage to write my book. But that is just one instance where your opinion has been invaluable. You have comforted me when I was down and homesick and rallied me when I needed to get to work.
The trust I have for you has only strengthened over the years and I don’t even have to dwell on it. Like the song goes, if I need you, you’ll be there. The trust we have built through the years has really made a huge difference in my life and that is the reason I completely understand and identify with the line Lamba saath, bharose ki baat. I hope I have been able to give you even a fraction of what you have given me.
