Finding a place to stay in London is easy. Finding a place to live, work, and thrive for two weeks is a completely different challenge. Last month, I traded my usual hotel routine for a 15-day experiential stay at St. Christopher’s Inn Oasis at London Bridge. As a digital nomad, I’m always looking for that “sweet spot” – a place that offers the social energy of a hostel but the peace and safety required for a professional creator.
After 15 days of morning coffees by the Thames and late-night writing sessions, here is my honest review of why the “Oasis” is a game-changer for solo female travelers and nomads.

The “Oasis” Concept: Safety Meets Style
The “Oasis” isn’t just a fancy name; it’s a dedicated female-only floor. As a solo traveler, there is an immediate sense of relief when you tap your keycard and enter a zone designed specifically for women.
The rooms are bright, the bedding is crisp, and most importantly, there are thoughtful touches like full-length mirrors and high-quality hair dryers. It felt less like a dorm and more like a shared boutique apartment in one of the world’s most expensive cities.
Productivity: Turning a Hostel into a Workspace
One of the biggest fears for a digital nomad is the “stuck” feeling of bad Wi-Fi or noisy common areas. I spent my 15 days here working on my upcoming projects and managing my Google News-approved blog.
-
The Workflow: I would spend my mornings in the common area. The Wi-Fi was seamless, handling everything from my 4K YouTube uploads to my manifestation research.
-
The Vibe: There’s a specific magic in working alongside other dreamers. I met designers, writers, and entrepreneurs from across the globe. We weren’t just “tourists”; we were a temporary community.

Meaningful Moments: Beyond the Sightseeing
During my stay, I decided to bring a bit of my world as a life coach to the hostel. I hosted an informal EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for Manifestation session in the lounge.
Seeing travelers from five different continents sit together to clear their energy and manifest their dream lives was a “massive hit.” It reminded me that travel is about the soul as much as the destination. This is the kind of community engagement you only get when you stay “slow” and stay long.

Location, Location, Location
You are literally steps away from Borough Market and the London Bridge station.
-
Morning Ritual: Grabbing a fresh flat white and walking to the Shard.
-
Evening Ritual: Catching the sunset over the Thames, just a 2-minute walk from my bed.
If you are planning a trip to London and want more than just a bed, this is it. Staying for 15 days allowed me to stop rushing. I wasn’t just “visiting” London; I was living it.
For the brands and hostels reading this, this is the power of long-term collaboration. It’s not just a post; it’s a lived experience that resonates with an audience looking for authenticity.
Highly recommended!
