Lord Ganesha aka Ganpati Bappa is the destroyer of all obstacles. Shiv ji, his father said that no puja will be considered as complete if not started by taking Ganesha’s name. Ganpati bappa makes impossible things possible and manifests all our dreams. Many of you might have heard about this old ancient temple Shree Siddhivinayak Mandir located in Prabhadevi in Mumbai.
This temple was originally built by Laxman Vithu and Deubai Patil on 19 November 1801. This is not just one of the oldest but also one of the richest temples in Mumbai. The main crown of the temple is a beautiful gold plated dome that represents the bappa’s divine power and presence. The other small crowns that surround it are made of gold’s and panchadhatu (five metals).
The different floors of the temples have different segments. First floor is the main temple, while second floor has the kitchen that is used to name Bappa’s Maha Naivedya (prasadam/offering) and there’s a restroom too. I have been visiting this temple since years. I remember the first I visited this temple when I was a kid and had gone to Mumbai for my winter vacations with my family to my aunt’s place. I instantly felt a connect with this temple and since then, I always visit whenever I go to Mumbai.
Lord Ganesha is also named as Vighnaharta, the remover of all obstacles. It is believed that if you go to this temple and ask Ganesha to remove obstacles from your life and manifest a specific thing, you will start to see the change from that moment forth.
I have not asked anything specific and frankly, I don’t have any such miraculous experience to share as of now, but I do believe that he listens and he manifests. I always go to him and thank him for everything that I have achieved obstacle-free. I believe the more I express my faith and gratitude to him for everything that I have achieved so far, the clearer my way-forward path becomes and I strongly believe that he is the one removing all the obstacles. indian travel blogger, best travel blogger, best travel blog in India

According to me, this is the right way to pray to Ganesha. Thank him for everything you have got so far and tell him what you want next and then again thank him for that. Simple!
This temple of Shree Siddhivinayak is also popular amongst the actors, singers, artists, entrepreneurs and authors. Many film directors bring the script to this temple to seek Bappa’s blessings before moving forward; same is done by many authors, where they bring the first copy of their book to this temple to seek his blessings.
I too believe in the same. I have 100% faith in Ganesha.
