Paris is famous for Eiffel Tower- The world knows about it. But few people know about the ‘Love Lock Bridge’ in Paris. Well, to tell you all… Love lock Bridge is one of the most romantic places in Paris (and in world too) It is the narrowest road bridge which was built in 1828. Gosh, that’s so old. Now you might be wondering what makes this bridge romantic?? Or may be some of you smarty pants must have guessed about it on seeing the photograph or the name! Well, this bridge is romantic because thousands of couples come here, place a love lock here on this bridge’s railing, swear by their love and throw the keys down in the seine. It is said that those who perform this activity or ‘ritual’, never part from their true love. It makes their love eternal.
My take on this idea is… locking a love padlock is really romantic and sweet. But throwing keys down in the river Seine is not a good idea. Rather, lovers should take the keys back with them, as a memento or token to remember that they visited this beautiful picturesque place and have placed a love padlock there!!! That’s totally my idea..!! After all, the beauty of that bridge is because of the river Seine flowing down it… And nobody want to see thousands of keys floating on its surface!!
I have totally given away my heart to this place. I am surely going to visit it once and would surely place a love padlock there!
