Velankanni Church, Tamil Nadu:
It is said that during the 17th century Mother Mary along with Jesus visited this Shrine and several miracles were seen at different sites. This served as a base for constructing Basilica. The Catholic believer visits Velankanni church at least once in a lifetime.
Mahabodhi Temple, Bodh Gaya:
This Buddha temple was constructed around the original Bodhi Tree in the 7th century AD. This was the place where Lord Buddha attained enlightenment. There is an ancient Shivalingam, which belongs to 860 AND.
