If you follow my blog regularly, you must be knowing that it has been over a week since I came back from my tour of Andaman & Nicobar Islands. I wish I could say ‘Its good to be back’ because I can’t! Yes, Andaman & Nicobar Islands gave me a a hangover that I can’t get rid of. In fact, I don’t want to… Because that place was no less than a dream destination. And this Neil Island, it is one such place which will make you feel that you are alone in the world and this world is totally yours.
Neil island is the beautiful island which lies in the south Andaman of the Andaman and Nicobar Island. The underwater life along with the corals and wide varieties of the flora and fauna varieties spread all around the island is so mind blowing to watch. Boating, scuba diving, game fishing and snorkeling and other sport activities can be enjoyed.
The added inclusion of the various water sporting activities to be enjoyed in the island has increased the traffic and crowd from all over the world to relax and spend their time entertaining with their friends and families.
The best time to visit Neil island is from the month October to May. The total area covered by this island stretches across 19 square kms. You will love to stroll around the white sandy beach and green shallow water around.
You will surely forget the tensions and worries of your life and feel relaxed and energetic with the pure oxygen and natural beauty. Neil Island has beautiful beaches along its coastal, Laxmanpur beach lies on the West side of the jetty of the Lakshmanpur village. Long white and smooth sandy beach is extra ordinary and where you can see the sunset which is awesome to view in the early morning.
Ram Nagar beach is located on the west side of the Sitapur beach. Sitapur beach is well known for its natural vegetation and banana plantations. Bharatpur beach is famous for the corals, and is also used for swimming.
Gosh! This place is simply superb. I never knew that our nation has such a beautiful tourist place. Right now I wish I could fly back to this place. But I am glad that I have loads of photos of Andaman & Nicobar Islands to revive my memories. Ciao!
