MyGlamm Sleeping Mask Review: Friends, if you are reader of this blog since long, you must be aware of the fact that I do not like experimenting on my skin by often trying new products. My skin type is oily-to-sensitive and there are so many products that react on my face negatively. In fact, whenever I post about a skin care or beauty product, I will always suggest people to first match-up with the skin type and then buy the suitable product. I have seen people, especially girls, blindly buying whatever the influencers advertise. It is wrong! What you see in those ‘my morning routine’, ‘my hair care routine’ videos, mostly products shown are promoted ones and the products that they actually use are different. So, my suggestion will be, go through the description and buy product that is suitable for your skin type.
In this post, I am reviewing MyGlamm YOUTHfull Hydrating Sleeping Mask that I recently tried.
What is MyGlamm YOUTHfull Hydrating Sleeping Mask?
This is a moisturising cream made with water bank technology. According to the brand, this cream:
- is rich yet lightweight
- has natural oil emulsion
- heals damaged skin
- locks in moisture for long lasting hydration
- uses a bi-layer hyaluronic patch system
Though the name is sleeping mask but this product is actually a cream that can be worn during the day as well as night. Also, this is made in south Korea and is not an India-made product.
MyGlamm Sleeping Mask Review:
At first, I would like to explain why I bought this cream. Since my skin type is oily-to-senstive, the skin becomes worse during the summers. I was looking for a cream that keeps my skin hydrated and doesn’t make it look patchy and oily. Though I still use glow and lovely as my day cream every day (yes, it has been more than 15 years now, and I am simply addicted to its fragrance + it is the only cream that doesn’t gives me pimples and acne, so I trust it still), I was searching for a good night cream which can soothe my skin and hydrate it. While roaming in one of the pantaloons showrooms, a salesgirl demonstrated me about this cream.
It comes in a beautiful (and very heavy) glass container. I was thinking this is the reason why it is so expensive, because of the packaging.
The cream felt really light and refreshing and they were selling at discounted price; so I decided to give it a shot. I also checked about its ingredients and felt it was good to go.
The most impressive thing was its water-bank technology. Although this is not a term in science but upon researching a bit, I found that water-bank technology means it keeps on providing water to skin timely, keeping the skin hydrated for long.
After using it for a month, I experienced suppleness in my skin. I was using it twice a day – as a day dream and night cream, and it made my skin healthier and softer.
It doesn’t have any effect on the complexion but who cares! One should focus on having a good and healthy skin rather than fair complexion because every complexion is beautiful.
All in all, this is good hydrating cream that keeps the skin moisturized, makes it soft and supple.
I will suggest you to also use to during the day for better results!
I did not get any rashes or acne, this means it is suitable for all types of skin. Saying this because oily-to-sensitive is the most intolerable skin type. And i have seen if a product is suitable on this skin type, then it suits all. Still I will suggest you to undergo a 24hrs test on your skin before starting to put it everyday.
Will I buy it again? Yes
