This was an amazing experience! I have been blogging and writing for years now but this campaign by Google India left me inspired even more. The best Indian travel and lifestyle Bloggers & Youtubers were invited by Google India to visit village areas with them for their Internet Saathi campaign on the occasion of Women’s Day. First of all, it feels amazing to be picked by Google India as India’s top lifestyle blogger and travel influencer for such an amazing campaign.
The idea of this campaign was to meet the ladies of their villages who have learned skills from internet and now making money because of it. They are no more dependent on the men of the house for money. We were there to make talk to them and give them more ideas as we make our living out of internet and earning money. It was such a pleasure to talk to them and listen to their success stories. Truly an amazing experience!
Internet Saathi is such a beautiful initiative by Google India, to help women of village learn skills from internet and earn money. For every 20 women in a village, there is 1 ‘internet saathi’ who is the leader of the group. This ‘internet saathi’ is trained and skilled by team of Google India, who then trains and teaches the women in her group.

In this vlog, I have tried to capture all the beautiful moments from this trip like I am interacting with internet saathis, talking to the ladies, explaining them what more can be done using internet, visiting their houses to see the products they made and more. This was really a busy , hectic yet inspiring trip. Though, I did not get a chance to click photos, but I will try to collect from the fellow influencers who travelled with me, and would post it here eventually.
