Of all the 5 star hotels I have stayed in, Le Meridien Gurgaon stands out because of it’s high-tech and perfectly luxurious rooms.
I recently had a pleasure of staying at Le Meridien Gurgaon and I was so impressed with the room, it’s amenities, the services and the decor. Le Meridien is a part of Marriott group of hotels, (Marriott International, Inc). This chain is present in almost all famous and touristy cities of the world.
I was hosted by the hotel itself in collaboration for BudX event where best travel bloggers were invited for a FAM tour. Thank you to the team for such an amazing hospitality.
The Location
Though the location of this 5-star hotel is a bit tricky, as it’s on the highway which is obviously not suitable for a regular traveller to randomly book it, but I felt it is a good option for anyone who want to go for a relaxed staycation. The location is away from the hustle bustle of the city and offers good green views from the room. It is about 15 minutes away from the Delhi airport.
The Room
This was my room!
The room was fully equipped with all the necessary items and amenities. I really liked the in-built and connected Bose sound system throughout the room, even in the bathroom. I could listen to the music/fm while chilling on the bath tub as well. Also, the bathroom was also huge and very beautiful.
The lightening of the room was also good and relaxing. I have stayed in so many 5stars but the rugs and carpets of this hotel’s room were worth mentioning. They were soft and cozy.
The was the view from my room!
The room service was also quick and the staff was really friendly.
The Food
Food was good although a bit over-priced but totally worth since the taste was amazing. Their Waffle with Ice-cream, Arrabbiata Penne Pasta and Indian cuisines are a must try. Also, outside food is not allowed here.
The Restaurants
Apart from the room service and their signature Marriott on Wheels, there is an all-day dining restaurant called Latest Recipe, an Italian restaurant called Bella Cucina and the Longitude Bar, which is a coffee house cum bar.
The Decor
Apart from the room experience, I also liked exploring the hotel as it was full of artistic show-pieces, antiques and paintings.
Unora Spa
I experienced relaxing full body massage there and it was really good. Apart from this, they also offer Ayurvedic treatments, body scrubs, steam, grooming services for both men and women.
Miscellaneous Info.
- Valet parking available
- Guest allowed in the room
- No pets allowed
- No outside food allowed
- Due to covid19, spa is not operational
- Wearing masks is mandatory
All in all, I had a great time staying here. Not for regular visits, but for relaxing staycations, honeymooners and family functions, this hotel is really good. Also, cabs are hard to book especially at night. So, you can expect to wait for long when the case is about uber and ola.
Price of the room starts from Rs.8000 per night.
