Do I even need to introduce Lamborghini? I am sure if you don’t live under the rock, you must be knowing about this luxury car brand. Lamborghini has launched World’s first Super Sports Utility Vehicle called as URUS.
I visited this event on 11th January 2018 at the launch of the all-new Lamborghini Urus in India. Lamborghini Urus has been launched in India with a price tag of Rs 3 Crore, less than a month after its global launch! This is world’s fastest SSUV (FYI: SSUV=Super SUV)
Lamborghini Urus SUV is launched at INR 3 crore (ex-showroom) in the Indian market packed with 4.0-litre V8 twin turbo engine, EGO mode, 4-wheel drive, 6 driving modes, active torque vectoring. It is Lamborghini’s first 5-seater car. It effortlessly touches the top speed of 305 kmph and as it’s the fastest, it reaches o-100 in just 3.6 seconds which makes it the best in class.
The World’s fastest SUV comes with Lamborghini’s 4-wheel drive system and Torque Vectoring unit. It is armed with a 4.0-litre, twin-turbocharged, V8 petrol motor mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic unit. The new Lamborgini Urus SUV also comes with 360 degree light weight approach which is based on Volkswagen’s popular MQB platform.
The fuel tank on Lamborghini Urus can pull 75-litre of fuel, which goes up to 85-litre when on reserve. The car can ride 100km on 12.7 liters of fuel and has been furnished with the cylinder deactivation technique. To enhance fuel efficiency, this feature deactivates half a bank of cylinders while driving in urban conditions.
The interiors, with the iconic Y-shaped dashboard seen on other cars from the Italian supercar manufacturer, and hexagonal elements, have been maintained accurately to the Lamborghini DNA. The fighter jet style start button is seen inside the Lamborghini Urus too. The central console sports three TFT screens: one for the instruments, one for infotainment and one for comfort functions including virtual keyboard functions with handwriting recognition. The company offers varied customizations with the interiors using a variety of colors and materials.
The best part is that it comes with a host of driving modes to choose from for getting the desired driving experience. We can choose from the usual array of Strada, Sports, and Ursa, as well as Neve, Terra, Sabbia for off-road conditions, as well as a fully customizable Ego mode.
The Lamborghini Urus seems to be at home here in the market, considering India’s recent fascination with sports utility vehicles, despite being a five door car, it seems Lamborghini has used their core DNA to design this car. The SUV proportions of the car do not bog it down in terms of speed.
Woah! This is a dream! What say?
Thanks for sharing pictures and keen details.
