Our lives are so busy these days that finding moments of happiness becomes such a tough thing. Most of us are running the rat race to earn money but often leaving our peace of mind and happiness behind. But since pandemic, the scenario has changed. People have become more conscious about their mental health and happiness. We have become more inclined towards the quality of life and try to make the most of this. Talking of this, today I woke up to an amazing and surprising news. My city Kanpur ranks 9th in the Happiest city index 2023 from India.
Kanpur has always been positioned and depicted as a some really bad city where fighting, abusing is normal on streets and people are really tacky. Well, I am from Kanpur and I know how the city is.
I am not saying Kanpur is perfect, it is not. It will take years for Kanpur to become as perfect we all dream of; but at least we are developing and how!
I am just writing this to express how content it felt when I read about Kanpur in World’s Happiest City Index 2023. First I came across on TOI and then researched more about it and found that there is no other city from India but only Kanpur. Kudos.
