This time, last year I visited Kairali Ayurvedic Health Resort (or healing village) in Palakkad, Kerala. That was one of it’s kind experience for me that I will never forget. The place was surreal, like a fairytale land. You may check out the photos of Kairali Healing Village here.
This time I got a chance to experience the same in Delhi. Kairali has lots of ayurvedic centres pan India where they provide the same therapy as they do in the health resort situated in Palakkad. Frankly. I didn’t expect it be to they way it was. I thought it will be a luxury or ayurvedic spa just like other good spas in Delhi but the moment I reached the place, I was surprised. The Kairali ayurvedic centre in Delhi is an exact replica of Ayurvedic resort in Palakkad.
This time I opted for a Royal Makeover Treatment. They say it’s the most special therapy that can make one feel royal and I completely agree with them. The therapy starts with foot massage, head massage, full body massage followed by powder massage, facial and steam bath.
It was a luxurious pampering session which not just made me feel rejuvenated but also helped clear dead cells from the skin making it look glowing and supple. The duration of this therapy is 150 minutes.
Apart from treatment rooms which have traditional equipment like wooden steam box etc., they have different changing rooms as well. Here’s one of those!
There are many more day packages like Holistic package which includes Abhyangnam, Nasyam & Elakizhi, relax package which includes Abhyangam, facial and face pack, rejuvenation package which includes Abhyangam & Shirodhara and revive package which includes Abhyangam and Podikizhi. You can also get specific therapy done e.g. if you want to go for just Abhyangam or Shirodhara, then you may opt for that.
