I weigh more than what you see

I weigh a thousand stories buried within me
I weigh the pain of that I got when I lost them, that people can’t see
I weigh the fears and the anxieties
I weigh the pressure of the society
I weigh the sea, the storms and those dark sleepless nights
I weigh the hopes that shattered and flew away like kites
I weigh the joys and the laughters from the past
I weigh the moment of success that will always last
So the next time someone asks you what you weigh
Don’t tell them numbers from the scale
but tell them that you weigh much more than they could see
Within you lies the weight of
the storms, the scars, the sky and the sea
