I Support Skill India, You Should Too!

Our pace of development is fast. We are a youth driven country and without any doubts, we have topped in almost all fields. People often say negative things about our development. I always wonder why because if we see the condition of our country 15 years back and now, there is a huge difference. We indeed have come a long way.

I can see the wonderful initiatives taken by our government that will help in the development of our country. Skill India is one such initiative and I proudly support it. It is making us understand the importance of being skilled and spreading awareness that only a degree or graduation certificate is not enough (and at times, not even required).

Many of us are unaware about the achievements unlocked by Skill India initiative. You will be fascinated to know that we have 64.8% of the population below 35 years of age. For dropouts and uneducated people (especially youth), it becomes tough to earn a good livelihood.

Skill India initiative holds a mission to empower Indian youth and help them develop job-centric skills in various fields like hospitality, beauty, security, tech and more. Not just this, but this initiative also helps people to find the right job which could help them and their family, earn a better lifestyle.

This mission is not just limited to making them learn skills but they have also linked it to entrepreneurship. It is milestone towards training our Indian youth in world-class trades. So, it might be possible your Uber cab driver must have gotten his/her training from Skill India Initiative or an Urban Clab beautician would have got skilled through Skill India initiative.

Yes, that’s how they enroll. They have collaborated with big corporate (Uber being the most recent) in order to get these young skilled professionals take up a good fitting job.

This transformation is really good and we should really be proud about this.
