During my visit to Mathura I was really very tired after those long hours of journey to various tourist spot in North India. You see, sometimes roadtrips are tiring as Mathura is about 370Kms from my place i.e. Kanpur. I have already booked a room in the hotel Sheetal regency which is just 10 minutes away from the Mathura Railway Station.
As I entered inside the hotel gate I was amazed to find the green gardens and the beautiful clean and well maintained garden all around the hotel. Visitors were coming and going and the weather was fine after the winter. The hotel Sheetal regency is situated near to Shri Krishna Janam Bhoomi, the River Yamuna and the Shri Dwarkadheesh temple.
There is also a roof-top terrace venue which can be booked for parties and gatherings. There is also a banquet hall available for 300 people. The hotel has been awarded best Hotel in Three Star Category in U.P. by UPHRA & Ministry of Tourism In year 2007.
The food and the room service were OK. The beautiful view all around the hotel will chill your nerve and make you dazzled. The Hotel had other facilities like Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Internet Facility, Money Changer, Laundry, Travel Desk, Doctor on call, Conference Hall.
Even room amenities were good – LCD Television in rooms, Direct Phone, STD/ISD, Round The Clock Room Service, All Major Channels. The dining 24 Carat is the hotels multi cuisine restaurant with delicious dishes.
