If you are regular follower of me on my social media (instagram & facebook), you must have seen my updates of my recent stay with Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity, New Delhi. Being a full time author, travel blogger and entrepreneur, I always have to work on the go. Though most of the times, I work from home, but many times I do get bored of my home studio and step out to work from cafes and at times, travel to another city and work from hotel.
Working from hotel is always a refreshing experience for me and my first choice. Before Pandemic, when I was often on the go for meetings, travel collaborations, workshops and speaking events, my favourite part of coming back to my hotel room, and working from there. And I must say, my recent stay with Pride Plaza was no less than amazing.
Pride Plaza is situated in the Aerocity of New Delhi which is just about 10 minutes drive from the Delhi airport. The property is huge and beautiful.
Sanitisation:
Most of us are skeptical for travelling, due to the pandemic and safety is the main concern. I was happy to see that Pride Plaza took all the safety measures. When I stepped off the car, my bag was sanitised. My temperature was also checked before I enter the hotel.
What really impressed me was the easy contact-less checkin. I just had to scan the QR code from my mobile, sign 1 paper and done. I could notice the desks, tables and seats and sofa, all were sprayed with disinfectant. They had even placed the tooth-picks to press the lift buttons. I must say, sanitisation was on-point.
My Room:
Mine was a Premium Room, which is one of the finest in all categories. Though suites are also available but when I travel solo, I don’t prefer suites. The room was perfectly spacious, luxurious and the way I like it. The room had all amenities like the king-sized bed, the work table with lamp, sofa and 42-inch tv, wardrobes, bathtub in the bathroom, mini bar, etc.
Food:
I tried Chinese cuisine (Noodles, Rice, Chilli Paneer and Stir-fried vegetables) via room service and it was amazing.
Apart from this, I ate Indian cuisine (Veg Kebabs, Paneer Tikka, Masala Bhindi and Paneer Gravy) at the Cafe Pride which was equally delicious. Cafe Pride is 24-hour multi-cuisine restaurant on the ground floor, right next to the reception. Buffet is also served here.

The coffee and cookies at Mr. Confectioner (their in-house cafe at the lobby) were a perfect companion to me when I was working at the lobby.
Their Stallion Bar and Lounge is good for people who love to spend time with friends, family or co-workers over drinks and food.
Apart from these, there is another restaurant Oriental Spice which is a Pan-Asian fine-dine restaurant. This is currently non-operational.
Work from Hotel:
I am not someone who loves isolation so much. Even though my work requires a lot of concentration but I usually prefer a place to work from where I can see the hustle bustle (not noisy though) happening, like a nice cafe or a hotel room with a view outside. Two of my favourite spots to work from Pride Plaza were
1) Mr Confectioner couch
2) My room (obviously)
The most important thing for someone who wishes to work from hotel or anywhere for that matters is, internet. Pride Plaza offers high-speed internet to their guests, which is just a blessing for someone who is working from the hotel.
Other Major Highlights of the Pride Plaza are:
- 24×7 Room Service
- Sohum Spa (currently not operational, due to covid19)
- Gym
- Swimming pool
- Banquet halls
- Valet parking
The location of this hotel is walking-distance from World-mark mall which has lots of cafes, restaurants and shopping brand outlets like Central, MiniSo etc.
The staff was extremely humble, friendly and co-operative. This was my 3rd time stay in Pride Plaza and I can say, I will consider to stay here again.
All in all, my experience was amazing. 5 Stars from my side, to this 5 star hotel in Aerocity!
