I have always been a fan of dancing. In fact, Dance was my passion until I joined Amity to pursue masters. Before that, it was just dancing. And I have always followed Madhuri dixit’s dances. At the end of this post, I have shared an old college performance video where I won the first prize and it was my last stage performance. The medley has Madhuri Songs like O Re Piya, Maar Dala and Kaahe Chhed Mohe. I recently came across Dance with Madhuri app and thought to check it out. So, I downloaded the app for free from the App Store and here’s the review.
The app provides with different dance forms like Bollywood, Folk, Club Dance Forms, Latin and Ballroom, Lifts and Tricks, Bolly hop, Street Dancing, Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet. The app also provides with fitness lessons containing: Body Conditioning Workout, Core Strengthening, Stretching, Tabata, Functional Training, Pilates, Step Burn, Dancercise, Garb aerobics and Yoga.
The app only costs for dance lessons; the fitness lessons are completely free and are easily accessed by anyone. The dance lessons cost so less, the real-life classes from unpopular and unprofessional dancers cost more than that. The dance classes were free in the lockdown period. The poor children around our locality were able to access it.
The dance with Madhuri is comfortable for all the age groups. The app will soon be organising a dance summer camp for all the age groups again. Investing your time learning how to dance will be the best to choose.
You can also access it online on dance with Madhuri website. Subscriptions starts from Rs199/- per month though, you can access a few dance lessons for free on the website, app and youtube channel.
This is one of the best apps to learn how to dance. Learn to dance all alone in your room hiding if you are an introvert. I promise you that this is going to be the best experience of your life. Hoping that you’ll enjoy the app the way I did.
And now, here’s my dance performance video on Madhuri Songs, way before all these mobile apps were launched when, TV was the only source to learn dance! Oh I feel so nostalgic!
