BlueFROG Pune -Perfect Place To Chill In Pune
BlueFROG restro-bar is located in Ishanya Mall, Yerawada, Pune. This is a very happening place with good crowd, mostly youngsters visiting this place. I believe, it’s a perfect place to chill in Pune, after all… they were the official partners to host after-party of Sunburn 2016.
Also, if you want to throw a party for friends, this one surely makes it to the top 10 list in Pune. There is loud party music with good DJ. BlueFROG also keeps conducting many gigs by inviting top class DJs and VJs like: Nikhil Chinnappa, DJ Jack Eye, Live Music is also a regular feature here and The band Indian Ocean plays here quite often so, if you have a date or something, you can visit this place for a wonderful evening. If you are a Karaoke lover, again, Blue frog is the place to be.
The Blue frog restaurant offers Finger food, Continental and Italian cuisine. Average cost for two people to dine out would be somewhere around 2500 bucks. They operate from 6 pm to 12.30 am. To briefly describe the interiors, I would say, the place is spacious and lit with warm Yellow lightings in most places. There is a dancefloor with interesting disco lights.
They have a bar that offers plenty of cocktails and mocktails. So, whether you booze or not, you will find something to relish in their Bar section. The bar offers a great choice in alcoholic as well as non-alcoholic drinks. For those who do not drink, they have Iced Teas and selection of Mojitos. Some of the most liked side dishes to munch on with the drinks include, over ten varieties of Salads, assorted cheese, assorted Chicken starters and of course salted dried nuts.
Unlike many other restro-bars, you can enjoy a full fledged Sunday brunch here since they offer some yummy breakfast options, as well. To name a few: made to order eggs, pancakes, waffles, veg/non-veg grills, pasta and Pizzas. For lunch, you can order from a lot of main course options available out here.
People have myth that BlueFROG just has fab non-veg food to offer. Trust me, it’s a MYTH! I am pure vegetarian as you all know and I really had a good time eating veg food there.
What We Ordered In BlueFROG, Pune:
We tried veg starter platter which had Pan Seared Galawati Kebabs, Crispy Chilli Potatoes, Greek Style Creamy Cottage Cheese Souvlaki (it looks like paneer tikka) and Crumb Fried Mushroom. Everything in this platter was super tasty, especially the chilli potatoes and cottage cheese dish.
Next thing that we tried (and you must try as well) was wood fried pizzas. Ours was (my favorite) onion capsicum wood fried pizza and it was YUM af.
We also tried MAC and cheese pasta. It was good and I am sure if you are a white-sauce pasta lovers, you are going to love this one for sure!
And how can I forget the Thai Curry Green Vegetable with rice. Though, I am not a big fan of Thai curry, but my cousin (who went along with me) loved it. So I am sure, it was good in taste.
Coming to the desserts, we tried Apple Crumble with Vanilla Ice-Cream and Chocolate Brownie Sundae.
One thing that is really cool about BlueFROG, Pune is… they have Mega Frog sippers in which they serve drinks (alcoholic). Purpose is to prevent spilling of drinks and breaking of glasses while you dance your heart out on the dance floor. You can also take the tumblr with you to your home. Isn’t that cool?
Final Verdict:
I totally loved the food, ambience and hospitality of BlueFROG. Location is perfect for Punekars and I am pretty sure, you are going to make this place as your regular hangout place after visiting it once. I am surely going to visit it again!
All in all, Blue frog restro bar is a complete package with sufficient space, good music, Live gigs, splendid bar and good food.What more can you ask for!!
