Heya!
So, if you regularly follow my blog you must be knowing that I am back from my trip. It was an amazing trip in which I covered Haridwar, Rishikesh, Dehradun and Mussoorie.
This was my third trip to Mussoorie and I can see, the queen of hills has changed a lot. I mean, when I previously visited Mussoorie it was near and clean with serenity and natural beauty. This time, it was quite disappointing.. Everywhere on Mall road, construction was going on. Hardware and bathroom fitting shops have been opened in the Mall Road which has transformed the Mall Road to a normal daily shopping bazaar. Though, second half of the Mall Road is still the same and you get to eat street food and shop lot of trendy stuff.
The sight-seeing adventure and the pleasure of shopping and riding can be experienced in the valleys and hills of Beautiful Mussoorie!! No wonder, it deserves to be called as Queen of Hills!
There are various places which are favorite tourist spots in Mussoorie which will completely relax your mind and soul.

Gun Hill
As the second highest peak in Mussoorie the Gun Hill is believed to be the favorite spot for travellers. Here history says that the past a canon was fired every afternoon, providing the time to the local residents, who then adjusted their watches accordingly. At present the location houses a water reservoir. Tourists can witness spectacular views of the snow- capped peaks of Himalayas from the hill and it can be reached by taking a ropeway ride .
The Christ Church
Built in 1836, the church is believed to be the oldest church in Himalayas. Designed in Gothic style, the events in the life of Jesus Christ are illustrated in the stained glass windows in the Church. The church has an ancient William Hill organ, about 100 years old and the church vicinity has a deodar tree planted by Princess of Wales in 1906.
Camel’s Back Road
It is a stretch of approximately 3 km long road from Library point to Kulri Bazaar. The road got its name from its rocks shaped like a camel’s hump. Surrounded by mountains and greenery, the road is known for its natural beauty and offers beautiful views of sunrise, sunset and mountains. It’s ideally used by locals for morning and evening walks.
