This was my first time in Dharamshala and Mcleodganj. I can say I had a great time, not just because of the views and places in Dharamshala but also because of Asia Health Resort & Spa.
Asia Health Resorts and Spa is located on the outskirts of McLeodganj in Himanchal Pradesh. It’s about 1.2 kms from Dal Lake which is a very famous tourist point in McLeodganj. Initially, we were looking for a hotel in Dharamshala but after seeing this property, we couldn’t resist experiencing the same!
This is a 4 star hotel in McLeodganj/Dharamshala which is provides all the required amenities. It is about 40 kms away from airport. It’s high-end luxury services are sure to pamper you during your stay.
The highlight of this hotel according to me will be it’s outdoor heated pool. It’s a mid-sized swimming pool which is 4.5 ft deep, good for children as well as grown-ups.
The rooms of this hotel are huge and spacious. See, this was my room!
It’s gorgeous balcony was truly wonderful. This can also be the USP of this hotel. All rooms are with valley view, either the rooms have a private balcony or it opens to common balcony.
The rooms are air-conditioned, with having a TV, coffee-maker, fridge and other required amenities. They do have wi-fi but it’s on the chargeable basis.
The hotel also has an in-house restaurant which served scrumptious food. They have an indoor as well as an outdoor seating arrangement for their restaurant.
They have room service though I felt that room service is a bit slow. I liked the taste of their Indian dishes but yes, their Kawa and Chilli Cheese Toast were totally amazing! I ordered these two things every single day.
Other facilities of this hotel include spa, sauna and steam bath. The staff for this is also well-trained and they offer almost all types of spas. It’s was very relaxing to get a full-body massage done in their spa. It made the stay even more relaxing.
This hotel also has a recreational/gaming zone. In their games room, they have a pool table, carom board, chess, foosball, play station and other board games. They have a small library where guests can pick books to read.
All in all, I found this hotel is really nice and comfortable. The staff is friendly and available 24×7.
