Aromatherapy is not a new concept, practise or treatment. It has been used since us, the humans for more than thousands of years. I, personally like taking aromatherapy almost every day. It is a part of my evening ritual. But before I tell you how I use essential oils for aromatherapy and what exactly is my evening ritual, I will share some really interesting essential oils benefits with you.

Benefits of Essential Oils for Aromatherapy for Body, Mind and Soul:

  • It calms the mind
  • It soothes the surroundings making one feel positive from within
  • Improves sleeping pattern
  • Helps get deep relaxing sleep
  • Releases anxiety and stress
  • Treats headaches
  • Makes skin youthful and glowing
  • boosts immunity
  • Cleanses the aura

These were some of the common benefits of essential oils. There are many more medicinal benefits of these oils too, but I am going to talk about that as let me leave it that for an expert, maybe a doctor or a spiritual healer.

How I use essential oils for aromatherapy?

There are 2 ways I use I use these essential oils.

The first way is using a diffuser. These diffusers are really nice and easy to use. Every evening I lit up the candle in a diffuser put the essential oils of my choice and spend sometime around it. I usually keep this in my bedroom, because it also improves the sleep pattern. I play some soothing music and soak in some leisure. I may read books, or write my book, make paintings, do scrapbooking or watch some movies/series.

The idea is to relax and inhale the aromatic essential oils. It instantly calms my mind, and even if I am working at that time, I feel so fresh and calm and can concentrate even better. For this, my favourite fragrance is Lavender and I am currently using Vasu Aromatics Lavender Essential Oil. This is a 100% natural and pure oil. It is an amazing stress-reliever, relaxes mind, relieves headache and promotes calm and deep sleep. Another way is in my body lotion and with rose water. For this, I use Vasu Aromantics Tea Tree Essential Oil. This oil is also 100% pure and natural. Just a single drop of oil is enough for one portion of application on face cream/lotion. I put it before I go off it sleep on my face along with my moisturiser. It is really effective and I felt it gave results faster than ready-made creams and lotions.
